Union through Intimate Synchronicity

When I was a young girl, perhaps eleven, my brother and I would tramp through the expansive field behind our development with friends looking for something to capture our interests and attention.  I remember one season when we discovered a pack of wild mustangs. They were the embodiment of a wildness I had yet to identify in anything outside of myself, but their wildness was constituted by something, centered in something… I could not yet comprehend. The mystery of the mustangs blazed and set fire to my dreams for years to follow. The sound their hooves made when walking on the dusty ground shook me to the core. Their majestic bodies moving in harmony with the air surrounding them sounded like music in its most heavenly form, and the simple awe in wondering why I was so lucky to be in that field on that day as a witness to such extraordinary beauty captivated my soul.

I am a mystic … my religion, created by me, for me, is rooted in the beauty and the mystery of the Divine… and in the realm of magic, music, movement, and miracle there is nothing more intrinsic to my beliefs, or inspiring to my spirit than the phenomenon of synchronicity.

Synchronicity is the orchestration between soul and world

a dance between the abstract and the concrete

a lovers language between God and person

spoken in the seductive tongue of enchantment

heralded by angels flying on wings woven with the threads of serendipity

delivered on the warming winds of mystery

Is there any greater affirmation that our choices reverently honor our paths than through the occurrence of synchronicity?  When my life calls for endurance and perseverance and I grow weary it is the presence of synchronicity that keeps me grounded and warms my embers of faith. But it goes beyond solace; it inspires, it fosters imagination, it is the matter of particles in the magic dust of dreams.

But what is synchronicity and how might it find you?

Synchronicity in the minds of some is nothing more than relative coincidence; but all the great spiritual masters of this world (no matter religious preference) will tell you there is no such thing as coincidence. Some believe that synchronicity is the manifestation of energy you have put out into the Universe, come to find you… I would agree with this for the most part, but I see and experience synchronicity as something fuller because it is expressed through a dynamic, personal relationship between our person and God.

I have stated many times in several entries that we are co-creators of our experiences and our lives’… CO-CREATORS … This statement would indicate a relationship. Is it not possible that it amounts to more than just sending out energy wave-lengths to the Universe and watching the effect and reaction to the outpouring of such energy? Is it not fantastic to open ourselves up to union through synchronicity as an opportunity to share in intimacy?

Synchronicity is more than a serendipitous encounter between myself and another person or event; for me, synchronicity has presented itself through signs, dreams, visions, and even the most seemingly mundane phenomenon’s, ie; the perfect melting of my arms around my children’s shoulders in their moments of needed comfort; a well placed joke in the course of tense communication; the simple act of turning on my car stereo to hear a song with a message I have needed to hear; waking up with heaps of energy on a day I’m to unexpectedly need it; the sound of perfect pitch  between my voice and the accompaniment of an instrument; the harmony between my body and mind when I laugh; GREAT sex… the list is endless. Synchronicity does not have to move mountains to be capable of moving our souls and shaping our lives.

What I adore most about synchronicity is the air of mystery that surrounds it, like thick fog that you can feel but cannot see beyond.  Nothing is more miraculous than synchronicity. There is no way to concretely prove synchronicity at every level it interacts in our experience(s) because it is infinite in possibility with innumerable methods of deliverance and reception. A full explanation of synchronicity does not exist; the same can be arguably stated about God.  How can we possibly hope to explain miracles? It is indescribable because it never presents itself in the same manner to any two people, and yet most of us can relay occurrences of synchronicity within the context of our own personal journeys with certainty. It is specific to each individual… Intimacy at its highest degree of expression.

I am not an individual that needs scientific proof as to how the Universe operates to quench my spiritual thirst. Nor am I an individual that seeks to find union with the Divine through the scholarship and application of religious doctrine. I understand the longing and the need of individuals to obtain such knowledge, as I think perhaps these desires weave a thread of commonality with my own desire: to know the great powers that BE through the experience of knowing thyself… and with that reflective thought I am grateful to those individuals that seek to know themselves through different avenues apart my own as I believe the diversity of knowledge sought and found adds to our collective comprehension. I love hearing the stories of experience that we all hold dear. I love when I feel compelled to investigate the occurrences of union between myself and my creator that push my limits of understanding. I thank those friends that encourage me to think in different ways. I hope I can do the same for you.

With that desire of wanting to share in the magic of the Divine with you …

I encourage you today, dear reader, to open your awareness to the ways in which the Divine presents synchronicity to you through your experience of life. It is a deeply personal and magical form of communication and way in which to engage in relationship with our creator, whomever you know your creator to be. Should you have problems identifying the phenomenon of synchronicity remember that it is the more attractive sister of chaos. Synchronicity exercises no prejudice, nor is it judgmental, and it is occurring all around you in every moment with every breath.

I wish you all the wonder and beauty of synchronicity.

I love your style.
